Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

On Thursday night my car broke down,I called 911 for help an officer came and took me to the gas station to get gas and he left me there. The gas station attendant gave me her truck and told me to be bk when she got off of work around 6a.m..Needless to say I drove to a friend house and went to sleep. I gave her my cell number to call when she was ready for me. I end up falling asleep and my cell went dead. when I woke up my cell came on for a second and she told me she reported the vehicle stolen. I woke up and tried to find the gas staion. i couldnt so I went to a gas station called 911. I saw to officers that I ended up flagging down and they told me she did report the vehicle stolen. several officers came to the scene and now the young lady is saying her mom wants to press charges. My question is How can her mom press charges and I didnt steal the vehicle she let me borrow it. And I tried to find her address by looking in her car and I found a bill statement that I gave to the police so they could help me.The officers let me go and proceeded to help me get my car running again.

This is the dumbest story ever. The gas station person loaned you her truck? Who does that? And your cell ran out of battery but came back on for a second, and it happens to be just at the time she calls? What cell does that? And why didn't you just get gas?

You need a better story than that and a really good criminal lawyer if you expect to stay out of prison.

I agree. Your story makes no sense. And you forgot where the gas station was? The whole story is not being told here, and I advise you not to say anymore on the internet. Find you an attorney and tell him the truth.
