Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Time
My boyfriend was on probation for his 2nd DUI, he was arrested last week for battery(strike/touch) when he got arrested he found out he failed his drug test-marijuana, he was supposed to get off probation on november 11th. How much time should he be looking at?

It would be hard to give you an accurate answer without more information. However he will now be facing not only the new charge, but also the violation of probation based on both the new arrest and the dirty urine.
This will be in front of the same judge who handled the DUI and he/she probably won't be too pleased.
When was he placed on probation for the DUI?
What does the victim in the battery case want to see happen?
