Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

First time offender . I am 36 mother of 2. Charged with felony possession of a controlled substance,methamphetamines. A tenth of a gram I got my court date on WED, I go to court MON afternoon. I thought I would be getting a PD. The paper I received said I would have to come down to the court house 5 days prior to court ans pay 50$ to get one. I haave a job and I couldn't get to the court house in those two day anyhow. Now I am scared and don't know what I am suppose to do tomorrow. What do I plea?

YOu plea not guilty. The $50 was an administrative fee for the public defender. Often the court will allow you to pay the day of your arraignment.
