Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Time Served
My friend was taken into custody at the courthouse on 04/25/2008, but now as he serves his sentence, his reception date shows 05/07/2008. Is there anything that he can do to get credit for the 11 missing days. I know that it's not long, but 11 days is 11 days.

Re: Time Served
His reception date is when he arrived in prison, not when he booked into the county jail. Those days are either already in the paperwork as credit, or are waived. Otherwise he would need to have his lawyet do a motion to correct sentence.
