Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
First time shoplifting offense
I was recently arrested and not transported to jail for shoplifting. This is my first offense and I have a clean criminal history. I must appear in court on 04/01. What will happen at this court appearance.

Your initial court date is an Arraignment date that you must appear if you have not hired a attorney. You will enter a plea and could be sentenced if you eiter either a plea of guilty or no contest.
