Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was told by a property mgr handling a home I was renting that if I wanted out of the lease I would have to sublet. I found a family to rent the home & collected a securitydeposit equal to mine. The purity mgr then debited them from renting. They are threatening criminal charges against me for the money back. Florida law states I have 15 days to return the $. Did I do anything illegal I'd they receive there money back in the allotted time?

Based on the facts in your question, it does not sound like you have done anything criminal. This is most likely a civil dispute.
