Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
tresspassing
I was tresspassed from walmart for ''stealing'' even though i wasn't in jan, I got caught there agian because it was never explained exactly how a tresspassing warrant worked. Should I just plead guilty? And if I do what is the punishment for tresspassing. What will I mist likely get? If it helps, I am a first time offender and never been in trouble with the law before.
thanks
EMerson

Re: tresspassing
You should never plead guilty without a review of the facts of your case. There may be something that can be done regarding the search, seizure, etc. Basic trespass is usually a second degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to 60 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
