Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I had a trucker pick up a zero turn mower for me in Indiana to deliver in MI. I live in florida. He ran off with my mower and its been 30 days Indiana police say I have to handle it in the state I live in and Florida say I have to take him to court. I thought it would be a felony for theft and they would issue a warrant for his arrest. I don't want him to get away with this and wondered what i should do?

It is a felony but if the state won't pursue it, then you have a civil remedy to sue him. It is normally done in the state where defendant resides. You should contact an Indiana civil attorney.
