Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is it true that if the victim, in a case in which the perpetrator has a PRR, says that they do not want the perpetrator punished under the PRR that the prosecutor has to drop the PRR?

The prosecutor has the final say on the PRR always.

The victim can only provide input, the state ultimately decides how to prosecute. Only the state can waive PRR
