Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Unlawful entry into home due to looking for drugs
I am in court due to the police
unlawfully searched my home
without probable cause, but did find
some drugs. The police report has a
lot of discrepancies and I have a
motion to supress, evidence,
however there is a plea on the table
yet I feel my lawyer is not fighting for
my best interest. Should I look for
another lawyer to fight for my behalf
if I feel the case can be thrown out or
do I take the plea.

You could at least go ask another lawyer to see what he or she thinks. Most criminal lawyers give free or cheap consultations. You haven't given enough information here for me to say one way or the other, but if you run the whole situation by another lawyer, you might get some guidance.
