Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was upgraded from a subject to a target in a federal investigation of white collar crime against my previous place of employment. My current attorney is meeting with the prosecutor in a week to do a reverse proffer, however I am considering getting a better attorney now that I am a target. Should I do so before my current attorney meets with the prosecutor?

Choosing an attorney is a very personal decision. If you feel comfortable with your present one and feel he is knowledgeable, then stay with that attorney. If you don't feel comfortable, then you should speak with other attorneys in your area. Keep in mind that Federal is a very specialized area of criminal law so make sure you talk to someone that handles Federal criminal cases.
