Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am a victim of first degree burglary and first degree battery the investigation is done today was the accused's first appearance I gave a statment at the hospital I was under the influance of alcohol and pain meds from the hospital I haven't talked to any officer since then.what will happen if I don't appear to court?

Unless you received a subpoena, you are not required to appear in court. This court date is likely an arraignment, where the court will appoint an attorney (if this has not been done already) and set the case for a pre-trial conference. It is unlikely the officer will speak to you again if the investigation is complete.
