What are the consequences for a 21 yr. old under probation for DUI that has been charged with domestic battery?

The chances are that the probation will be revoked and he will face whatever penalty that the court decides to impose for the original DUI. If counsel is obtained, an artful attorney might be able to convince the prosecutor and/or the judge that this was an unrelated offense and should not affect the other case.

your probation will be violated and a warrant will be issued. you are facing up to 1 yr on the battery and 6mos on the dui
