Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Violation of probation

My husband had a misdemeanor charge 2 + years ago of voyeurism. He had a trial and he was on probation and got community service, anger management... With a history of a mental illness, at the time, he did not complete the requirements of his probation, he went back to his homestate of Ohio to get counseling etc. because doctors over medicated him-- it was hard for him to get it together. He came back for a visit to florida last week and got picked up for violation of probation warrant. What is the best kind of action for me to take at this point for him to have the lightest sentence possible?
