Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

my boyfriend was arrested, 16th of october, because of that he violated his probation, he had an arraignment on the 23 of november and the hearing is scheduled for the 9th of january 2006 according to him his lawyer doesnt do anything for him,does it take that long or should he take another lawyer who can get a faster hearing?

i dont understand your question. should he hire a lawyer? yes, if hes not happy with his representation. if he has a public defender he cant switch between two pds. my clients hire me all the time for vops.
