Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
vop
My brother was arrested this past week for vop/capias/fel(2sep warrants)he paid probation off but license is revoked. No bond.Still there.Has attorney but can never get him on the phone. His license should not be revoked has all d6 clearences to prove it.How do we get a court date so we can prove this is one big misunderstanding. He has a 6yo and a single parent. When this first started he had a public defender and was instructed to plead no contest instead of not guilty. Is this every going to be resolved??Thanks in advance for reply.Very Very angry sister

Re: vop
Your brother will be given a preliminary vop hearing by the clerk within a few days of arrest. Its hard to say whats reallly going on without more information. No contest has almost no real difference legally than guilty. Valerie Masters 561-659-9410
