Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

VOP Question

My brother is on probation for possession of meth and failure to redeliver hired goods. He violated back in August by getting arrested for breach of peace. That charge was not prosecuted but he still received an additional year of probation for the VOP. He was pulled over and received a ticket for DWLS last week and knows that he will likely be violated again. Both of the felonies that he is on probation for are 3rd degree. He currently has 26 points on the scoresheet I believe. I know that the worst possible case is 5 years since that is the max for a third degree felony but based on what I have told you what is the most likely sentence? He is not a violent criminal but just seems to get in trouble for the stupidest things.

Re: VOP Question

Depending on how he was sentenced the max is 10 years five on each charge. I would say the State would want to revoke his probation and give him some county jail time to end this.
