Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
vop
My son was arrested for a technical violation of state probation. He was at work not at home as he should have been how long can one county hold him before the warrant county picks him up. If he is held for 10 days and the warrant county does not pick him up do they have to let him go free?

Re: vop
You should hire an attorney in the county where he was originally sentenced. They can try to get a bond in place.
Otherwise your son will be held until he is transported to the county that issued the warrant. Depending on how far it is, it could take up to a month.
