Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I don't wanna bore anyone with all the details but

I've been battered by my boyfriend for 5 months, and he is currently on probation for ripping clothes off my body, strangling me and scratching me. He spent the night in jail.

He got out on bond and was put on probation.

We were forbidden from seeing each other, but since I had no where to go we still saw each other. We had a no contact order.

His parents begged me to go to the courthouse and take off the no contact order. I loved him so much, that I wrote a letter to the judge and he lifted the no contact order.

Well 2 months later, I call the police. I am shaken up, I haven't used a phone a few days or the Internet in a few days, that day I went to wal mart (his mom took me) I bought a prepaid phone. I called the police and told them what happens. They told me I changed my story and my boyfriend has bite marks so they arrested me!!!!!!!

I told the police my boyfriend grabbed my arms and there are bruises but he didn't wanna see them, he took me away! I also told him my bf punched me in the buttocks and they didn't offer to take pics of any of my injuries.

I feel like they didn't arrest him

Because the cop thought I was lying because I don't remember the order things happend.

I am so mad!! The judge told me to call 911 if this ever occurs again, and I did call 911 and look what happens to me! I go to jail !!

His mom and dad also said that "i stArted it" I understand that he is already on probation, do you think he will get in trouble for anything? Because I am the one that got arrested, but I am

Going to plead NOT GUILTY and ask for a jury trial, because I don't want this man ruining my life! I hate him.

He has broken my laptop , phones, hard drive with pictures ,has conned me into spending money on him.

He writes me

Texts everyday telling me he "loves me". He calls my moms house he even stopped by once at 4 am . The state put a no contact order on me so I don't answer his calls, I don't wanna get in trouble. But I'm afraid he is gonna try to get me into more trouble because he is on probation.

Also can he can in trouble for violating the no contact order he had a few months ago before I took it off for him?

Also I cannot afford a lawyer, will a public defender help me if I tell them I want my case to go to jury trial because I don't want to take any deals or anything. This man has taken everything away from me and the police are trying to take my rights away, and making me the aggressor the guy is over 200 lbs I'm 110 lbs.

I live in Florida. Please someone give me advice. I'm in trouble cause I don't remember what exactly happened when the cops came, so they arrested me because his parents said I caused it but I didn't cause it. I was defending myself. He write me text saying he loves me.

Unfortunately, you have disobeyed orders in the past which were designed to help you. As a result, you have lost credibility with police. You are now experiencing the results of continuing on an abusive relationship. You need to follow the advice of your public defender which has probably told you that you will not find success in beating this charge by bringing in facts about prior cases. In others words, you are arguing apples to oranges. If you bit him, you not him. You are not going to get out of it by making excuses. And from a non/legal standpoint, disengage yourself from toxic relationships or these problems will continue. No woman deserves to be beaten and no beater ever stops.
