Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Warrant for Larceny in Florida

I have a friend that stole a deposit from his place of employment (approx $4,000). He has a warrant but has not turned himself in yet as he wants to gather the money to pay back before he does. He has no money for attorneys and feels awful about what he did. He's had no prior trouble with the law, what will happen & what should he do. He is not in the state right now.

Should contact an attorney in the city where the crime took place and arrange for a surrender and restitution. It is possible that an attorney could work out a deal where the jail time would be minimal.

Re: Warrant for Larceny in Florida

He will have to surrender and he will most likely be held in jail until the case is resolved.
