how long can the state of fla. hold a warrent before the statues of limitation comes into affect?

The warrant will probably be held forever, and it is in a national system, so it would show in NC as well.

Just because there may be a statutory defense in court this will not make the Warrant go away.

Additionally, if the person left the state the statute of limitations will likely be tolled, or paused.

There may be other defenses available in this case.

Those issues are unrelated to each other. You cant simply outlast the statute to get your warrant to go away. They last forever. Just take care of it.
