Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have two four wheelers loaded on a 8x10 trailer which I have paid a lot for , this is stored on a RV resort property storage lot, I have a Camper at the location as well that is on a actual site. I have to pay an extra monthly fee for the storage. As of yesterday 11/27/16 my items were all stolen off the property. I don't know as of yet if there is insurance that recovers theft or not at the resort . I have a police report and the resort managers are viewing the camera footage of the gate that the thief's came through. Everything had been locked and chained, the thief's cut the gate lock to gain entry and also all the locks on my trailer to remove the chains. I want to know is the property is liable for this thief since I was paying to storage my items on their property? My stuff was close to being priced at around $10,000.00 all paid for. I'd like to know if I'm able to recoup my lose, if items are not recovered. Which I'm sure 9 out of 10 times it won't be.
