Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my wife and i were attacked by my brother inlaw in my home and I threw away cup at him to get him away from us he got cut and I went to jail im disabled and he knows that the police would not let me press charges what can I do

If the prosecutor is unwilling to do anything, then you should get a civil attorney to file a suit against him.
