If your wife steal a car thats not in her name and steal the tittles from out of the owner of the car room Which is my grandma is that fraud? And theif? If your wife steals a car then that is Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, a third degree felony. Stealing the title itself would simply be another theft charge. If she alters the title to falsely indicate that she is the owner the car then she would be looking a forgery and fraud charges too.
It is not marital property if she is unlawfully in possession of the property, unless of course you would want to be a co-defendant to the theft.
