Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Will my sealed background show on my college application? Did an fsu application for an accounting degree it asked and i submitted a statement about 2 charges from when i was 16, driving without a valid license and leaving the scene accident. After this it stated that i need to be reviewed by the judicial committee first now. It has me worried and im wondering what to do on my uf application. 2 months ago i was granted a seal for felony possession without valid prescription charge from 7 years ago. I was 18. Because it was sealed will it show up and keep me from getting in? Was i supposed to mention it? Also, someone mentioned to me that juvenile records automatically expunge by 24 or 26? Why hasnt mine? All in florida, thanks so much!

It won't show up on an official background check. It may show up on private background check companies though. Yes juvenile records do automatically expunge at 24 or 26 (depending on your juvenile charge and outcome). However, it has been my experience that if people want to find something they will. When it comes to school, the main thing to know is that when asked you should be honest, as a sealed juvenile charge is not usually considered for most applications.
