Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
with-held adjudification
My friend was convicted of a felony charge of possession of over 20 grams of cannibis. The judge with-held adjudification. What exactly does that mean? Is he a convicted felon and will employers see this conviction on his record? Can he get it sealed after he finishes probation?

Yes, if a withhold was entered and he has no priors, he should be able to go back and get his record sealed or expunged after he completes his probation. He can hire and attorney who can guide and represent him during the process or do it himself.
