Withheld Judification with Record Sealed
In 1998 I was caught in a reverse sting and arrested for possesion of cocain. I plead no contest and the court ruled ''Withheld Judification and Sealed the record after serving 1 year of a 2 year probation. Do I have the right to purchase a firearm?

Re: Withheld Judification with Record Sealed
Don't get confused between withholding of adjudication (non-conviction) and sealing of a criminal record. Sealing of a criminal record is a seperate months long petition. A non conviction should not effect your civil rights.
Re: Withheld Judification with Record Sealed
Assuming that is your only arrest, if you received a "withhold of adjudication," then you are NOT a convicted felon. You should not have had any of your civil rights taken away. You should be able to vote, purchase a firearm, serve on a jury, etc.
