Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
How does this work?
My girlfriend was convicted of felony charges she got 11 months and 29 days in jail with 2 years community control and 35 years of probation. She doesnt have a lawyer, but the computer says on the sheriffs website that it is in appealed status, could the state of Florida be appealing her charges and if so how can she be re-tried for the same thing she was already sentenced from the judge?
