Is a written statement signed by both parties in a fight given to police officer agreeing not to press charges binding? State of Florida... Can future criminal battery charges be filed?

It's not binding on the state. They can choose to charge one, both, or neither of you. They have the right to bring charges at any time within the statute of limitations, which for a misdemeanor battery is two years. You each should probably talk to an attorney.
