Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I wrote and signed one of my ex fiance's checks and cashed it. I have signed a lot of his checks in the past, all the rent checks, car payments, etc because he gave me permission to. Now he is threatening to have me arrested for check fraud for a specific check. I have given him the money back, is there any way out of this?

If he gave you permission then you have not committed any fraud. He can threaten all he wants but you should be in the right. That said, you should talk to an attorney so that you can avoid a possible arrest based on misstatements your ex may make. Also understand that he does not bring charges only the state attorney can do that. I suggest hiring an attorney right away.
