In FL, your relationship is legal. Under FL law, it is not a crime for a person under age 24 to have a consentual sexual relationship with a 16 or 17 year old. If you were under 16, it would be a major problem. See FL Statutes 794.05 (sexual activity with minors) and 800.04 (lewd and lascivious behavior with minors under 16). Statutes can be found at www.leg.state.fl.us.
Be aware that the law on this varies by state, and in many states you must be 18 to consent.
