had a relationship 20years ago, with a co- worker! niether of us work there now! could i send a birthday note without trouble?? have not heard from this person in 20years?? can i just wish them well and give my best on their landmark birthday?? maby leave my phone incase they want to say thanks?? is that trouble or okay?? is there limitations of time?? florida

Sure, you can send a card. I would be discreet if you choose to do so. There is nothing illegal about it, but careful about doing something that will affect his or her personal life. I am sure that you would not want to do that.Ancient history usually id best left that way.
