If you are under 21 and you have an open alcohol container in your trunk and a cop pulls you over and searches your trunk, can you get charged with something for that bottle?

It would be difficult, unless you had access to the trunk from the passenger compartment. Bigger question is why would you have an open container in a trunk without spilling anything?
