Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

I was arrested in polk county fl on a dui. i refused every test. this would be my 2nd dui . my last dui was over 5 years ago and i did it without a lawyer. im just wondering what going to happen abd if i need a lawyer

Well a lot could happen. If you go to court on your own, you are facing several mandatory minimums, including a fine between $1400 and $1600, a one year license suspension with no hardship available, 12 months probation, ignition interlock on your vehicle for up to 12 months and more. This is on top of facing up to 9 months in jail. In Polk county jail on a 2nd DUI is common. I strongly suggest you contact an attorney.
