Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

Well the worst thing that can happen is a conviction on your record and heavy fine, however, in reality, if you've never been in trouble before, the Miami judge will most likely withhold adjudication and you pay a fine or else he/she will do what's called a conditional nol prosse where they make you write a letter explaining the horrors of underaged drinking. I agree with the response of the other attorney but wanted to add that you will most likely be eligible for the misdemeanor diversion program which, if completed, would result in the charges being dismissed.
