my daughter got a dui 6 years ago. when arrested they found a xanax in her pocket and charged her with a felony. How does she get the felony off her record? she is interested in going to school in the medical field and is afraid that she won't get hired because of this felony.

If she is convicted of this she will probably not be eligible to enter the medical field. You said they charged her, but you don't say what the outcome is. If for some reason, the charge is still pending then she needs to continue to fight this charge. If she presumably pled out or was found guilty at trial, then she would not be able to do anything except appeal and that time has probably passed as well. Her only other option may be a pardon but she may still be ineligible to get her medical license. Talk to an attorney to see if she has any options.
