denied a job because of an outstanding warrant ( DUI ) in another state. If I can't afford to travel & miss work, are there any options?

You could contact an attorney and hire them for that attorney. You don't say where the DUI was but contact an attorney in the locale of where you were originally arrested for DUI. It is possible, but not definite, that it could be resolved without your return.
