I got a DUI last weekend in the state of Florida. I'm originally from Michigan and have an Ohio Driver's License because I lived there for 2 years. I haven't been to court yet, but I'm trying to buy a plane ticket for Thanksgiving to go home to Michigan. Will I be able to go out of state for the holidays?

You should be able to travel as long as it doesn't violate the conditions of your bondsman or your ROR terms. However, I strongly suggest you hire an attorney to represent you before you leave. It may be possible to resolve the case without you having to return to Florida. Or there may be defenses allowing the case to be dismissed or amended. Your ZIP code cites the Tampa area, and if that is where it happened, feel free to give me a call at 813-277-0800 or check out my website for some possible answers to any questions at www.helpgoodpeople.com
