Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

fl dui

I skidded on my scooter and was

slightly injured. The police came and

took me to the hospital where I was

given a blood test. I was not arrested

or offered a breathalyzer. I was

released and told when the results of

the blood test cam back (4-6 weeks)

I would likely be charged with dui.

What is likely to happen? What are

my options?

If you want to challenge the taking of your blood you should get a lawyer. You may have a legal basis to challenge the taking of your blood without your permission. If they drop the charges you can have the charges expunged. If you take a plea to a DUI or are convicted it will be on your record forever.
