I have a grandaughter who I brought to live with me in FL, she had had 2 dui's in Va. and served 65 days in jail in Va. She had an evaluation there for future and was only asked to attend traffic school. We transferred that to Fl. and now the reevaluation here they say she has to attend traffic school-3 times -do 26 weeks AA and 26 weeks of counseling also. She has a great job here, has been with us in Va and Fl about 100 days, she doesn't even want a drink. She cannot keep here job and do all of these meetings. Am I getting a runaround for financial gain of others? The sad thing is we brought her here for a fresh start and it is almost becomming an impossible situation. Can anyone help?

Get her reevaluated by an independent counselor. They may be able to make a different recommendation than the one given by the "standard" evaluator in your area. Otherwise, she is probably going to have to comply with the conditions in order to get or maintain her license.
