Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

Hello,

Lets start with the problem.

I was pulled over last year in June for DUI and charged with possession of a fake ID too.

Now everything is finished I plead guilty to the DUI and all my probation and court stuff is finished. The felony possession of a fake ID was dropped.

I did a background check for school and it has on it DUI with property damage / personal injury.

This isn't true I was pulled over never crashed or anything. My question is how do I get this changed on a background check. I don't care if it has DUI on there as long as its just DUI not DUI /w damages. BTW I had a public defender.

This is probably a mistake on the background check company. You need to contact them and straighten it out. Once you explain they will usually accomodate you.
