My husband had a dui 7 years ago in fl. He did not finish paying the fines or doing community service. His dl has been suspended since than and I believe he has a warrant. We have lived and worked in the same place the entire time and have not heard from anyone on it. What steps have to be taken to fix this and get hin a new dl, and should we have an attourney?

He needs to get all conditions completed including community service, school, fines, etc. You should hire an attorney in the county where this happened and see what can be done about the warrant.
