Impoundment
On November 11, 06 friend of mine had a DUI while driving in my car. I just got a letter and it says that my car will be inpounded for 10 days. How do i fix it. I need my car.

You need to appearm before the court with your friend and have the judge vacate that part of the sentence.

I would suggest that you work work with an attorney like myself to develop a game plan to show that you did not own a car at the time .Therefore, it would be unreasonable to have your friends car impounded as he was not a family member. However, in order to give you more precise information I would need to know all the facts which I can find out if you will e-mail me or phone number in a time that is convenient to contact you this weekend. In these type of proceedings it's important to move quickly so that there's no misunderstanding that your friend is losing a valuable economic benefit.
