I got a misdemeanor and I looked up my charges and it said "No action taken by the prosecutor" what does that mean?

It depends on the context. It could mean they are not proceeding on the case, on a motion, on a continuance, on a certain decision. You need to talk to your lawyer and ask.

I would not rely on an annotation in the Clerk of Court's on-line database to tell you anything difinitive about your case. That being said, if you're referring to the Orange County Clerk of Court's database, it usually means that the State has yet to formalize its charging decision.
