There are a few ways that you can be violated while on probation. Obviously, if you are charged with a new criminal charge, you will be violated. You can also be violated for failing to complete the sanctions imposed by the court, including taking classes, completing counseling and paying your fines, court costs and fees (for example). You must also comply with your probation officer's directives, meet with your PO as directed and comply with the general and special conditions of probation. The judge is not likely to use issues related to your family law matter in your criminal case, unless there were special provisions made for their applicability in your DUI, such as if the court required you to maintain a certain course of counseling and treatment as provided for in the family matter, for example.

Should you wish to review the specifics of your case with me, please give me a call and I'd be happy to provide you with some guidance.
