son pulled over driving my registered vehicle on sept 27th of 2009arrested him on a dui they did not take vehicle they left it in a parking lot and i picked it up on oct 22 2009 he went to court and now they want o impound my vehicle for 10 days for his sentence can they take my vehicle

Yes they can impound the vehicle he was driving at the time of the DUI. If he has not been sentenced yet, then you need to let his attorney know that this would create a hardship on you and the judge can waive the impound. If he has already been sentenced and it is within 60 days of sentencing, then you MIGHT be able to ask the court to waive the impound.
