How can a Venice Police Officer mark on a accident report that I was "under the influence" with no sobriety test, "did NOT detect the presence of alcohol". No urine screen, no blood test. Even though I was the victim of a car crash, the driver who was written up for failure to yeild, and no insurance documentation tells the cop that she feels I was intoxicated ? She also states a number of other things that make no
sense (the other driver). An example would be that the report states " I needed to make a lane change so I asked my passenger to look in the rear view to make sure the lane was clear." She also claims that she saw me hit her vehicle.

Call the officer and ask him. Although I would be careful, because you never did say in your question that you had not been drinking. Open this door at your own risk.
