Three years ago I hired a lawyer on a D.U.I. case. On the fourth D.U.I they have a ten year waiting period for license reinstatement. In Oct of 2011 they changed the law to a five year waiting period for license reinstatement I will be able to apply for a hardship license in Feb of 2012. Since service wasn't render will I be able to receive a refund from my lawyer ?

Not quite sure what you are asking. They changed the law in a way that benefits you. Why would you be entitled to a refund? If the lawyer did not do any work for you, then you might be able to according to the terms of your contract. You should talk to this attorney to help alleviate any questions you have.
