Can a school ask me to get a doctor's note to be readmitted after a mental breakdown that happened after my suspension from school?

Private school can, public school probably cannot unless your breakdown involved violence. Regardless of what they require, you probably should check with your doctor to see if you are ready to return to the stresses of school.
