Legal Question in Education Law in Florida
Teacher School
Im pretty mad because my teacher who has a bad attitude and uses vulgar language and curses a lot in class just gave us an assignment requiring us to sell at least 1 of 2 floral arrangements for a TEST GRADE - It's Tuesday right now and she said if you don't sell it by next tuesday you get an F! This is a bad teacher, some classes she doesn't even teach she just lets us talk and listen to music or do what we want. But the question I am asking is that I want to know if it is Illegal to give students and assignment requiring them to just sell an object ( which requires no knowledge ) and if the student doesn't sell it they get an F?

You have an excellant point and I applaud your concern. It is not "illegal" but it is a "crock" of you know what to do so. I wouls suggest that you and otherstudents go to the principal and discuss this issue. You might also write to the local school board. You have a legitimate concern. It is, though, a political issue and not a legal issue.
